Our Story

My Passion for making gifts all began during the year of 2000.  I began to make burp cloths for babies of family members, friends, and co-workers.  I remember pondering over what my Burp Cloth business name would be with my sister and good friends.

After my second daughter was born, I began to stay home with my girls. I decided that I was going to full-fill my dream of owning my own business.  I purchased an embroidery machine to make my gifts extra special. 

It has been three years now and Southern Threads has developed into a company that creates specialized gift packages for all occasions.  I have always loved giving unique gifts.  Southern Threads gives me the opportunity to make and give gifts often whether it is for someone’s co-worker, friend, or family member.
